Working on vocals, release of singel & the record...
Working on the last lines of some songs, then we will record the last vocals on them.
But because of illness we are waiting untill february before we do that. We want it perfect!
Then the songs will be transfered to Jacob that will write more on the stringsarrangements,
and later we will record the strings in the studio. so the work is going good!!
Then the songs are going to be mixed by Fredrik Johansson in Stockholm Sweden.
And when we are there, we will first release a singel. And then we need your help, our fans....we will tell you more about that later on.....and then we will release more songs....so keep your eyes on us 2012!
The hole albume will be released later in 2012...but you will get music before that!

"Thank you Michelle Barth-Croon" for been a member in the band during 2010-2012.
She is now leaving the band, because she is going to study MUSIC in Stockholm, (Sweden) so
we wish her the best of luck!! You are a great violin player and we had alot of fun during these years!!

THE KINGS OF QUEENS från Trollhättan (och en massa andra städer, förstod jag det som) sätter definitivt ribban högt. Hittills kan man bara höra en låt, men den är sjukt genomarbetad, avancerat arrangerad med riktigt stråk och med snygg video. TKOQ spelar någon slags gotisk metal a la LACUNA COIL och EVANESENCE, som vi inte direkt brukar förknippa med Sverige och jag är verkligen inget stort fan av det i vanliga fall, men jag måste säga att jag gillar anslaget och ambitionen. Det är alltid roligt med människor som verkligen går in för sitt skapande, tummen upp!

WHAT: SUMMERSHOW WITH THE KINGS OF QUEENS!

WHERE: Circus tent, His Place, Trollhattan.
This will be the first and only summer gig with The King of Queens, during the summer of 2011. >The band makes only one summer gig this years, because all the focus currently is on the debut album, and the recording, of the debutalbum, will be release later in 2011.
The band are doing pre-production of the album right now and will start (after the summer) with the recording. So if you visit this gig on FALLENS DAGAR in Trollhättan Sweden, you will be able to hear a little taste of how it probably will sound on the disc...later on...

History about the band: The band was formed in 2009 by Rebecka Haak (vocals / piano), Hampus Olsson (drums) and Ludwig Lindqvist Moreau (guitar) in Skara.The three band members met at a summer course in live performance at the school Music Factory where Michael Blair were the teacher (U.S. drummer/producer/coach) and the three members took a liking to each other, after they had been given the opportunity to play together during the course. They all came from three different genres and even cities, Borås, Trollhättan and Gothenburg in Sweden, so Skara became the center for the band during 2009-2010.
In 2010 the band found Michelle Barth-Croon (violin / cello) and she joind quickly the band. It was this year that the band started a big musicvideo project for the song PRETENDING, up in Håverud, at Dalslands Center, together with a lot of film makers and people who lined up volunteers. The single PRETENDING released later in 2010 when a big release party in Håverud on Dalsland Center and then a small release party at Stålverket in Trollhättan. The interest and the positive response was enormous!
In 2011 the band found its now regular bassist Simon Nilsson. Rebecka Haak participated as juror in a music competition and she saw him play live, and gave him her number.
So Since 2011, the band had been complete! So in 2011, the band developed their sound and written a lot of new songs and now are therefore focusing on recording their debut album which will be released later in 2011 and then is all the focus on playing live!

Under 2011 hittade bandet sin nu ordinarie basist Simon Nilsson. Rebecka Haak deltog som jurymedlem i en musiktävling och hon såg honom spela live och gav honom sitt nummer. Sedan dess har bandet varit komplett! Så under 2011 har bandet utvecklat sitt sound och skrivit mycket nya låtar och nu ligger alltså fokus på att spela in sin debutskiva som kommer släppas senare under 2011 och sedan ligger all focus på att spela live!
